Toadlena, San Juan County, Navajo Nation, New Mexico. April 2018.

Toadlena Trading Post is located in the small community of Toadlena, New Mexico, in the foothills of Ch'ooshgai Mountain. It serves as a weaving museum, where visitors can step into a new exhibition every two years. The first ten photos below are from the past exhibition when saddle blankets were put on display. The current one, which started in June 2018, focuses on the elaborate rug design known as the Navajo Storm Pattern.

The trading post sells Navajo rugs from the Toadlena and Two Grey Hills areas, where weavers are renowned for creating rugs made from natural wool colors and yarn produced by hand carding and spinning.
