While nature has so much beauty to offer, one should never lose sight of potential hazards. This accident occurred on a relatively easy route when a young man slipped and fell for about 50 m from the rim into a slot. The rescue operation took place with considerable difficulty to get the stretcher down first, and then to lift it up. A helicopter somehow landed on the rim and took him to hospital. I was positioned on a hill on the other side of Mt. Carmel Road and used a telephoto to capture the event.
